Colour

DA offers both grading in Baselight and Resolve, offering felixibility for our clients.

Our premium suite, Grade 1, gives our clients access to a cinema-level grading experience with the industry-leading Baselight Two system, and it's counterpart the Sony BVM-HX310, utilising the highest-degrees of colour science and accuracy - bridging the gap between the grade and the cinema room, which also features 5.1 surround sound.

Our secondary suite, G2, runs Resolve, the classic high-end grading system for more flexible budgets and creativity. The room boasts a LG OLED C4 and stereo sound for a comfortable grading session.

We work exclusively using scene-referenced; ACES managed-workflows, and are equipped to deliver content in 4K, 6k, HDR and beyond.

VFX & Online

We specialise-in and supply the full breadth of Online and VFX including Compositing & Clean-Up, Digital Matte Painting, Rotoscoping and both On-Set & C.G. VFX supervision

Led by our experienced in-house VFX producer-creatives, the department is known for its exceptional attention to detail and care: from project ideation and management utilising design innovation and technical execution, leaving no stone unturned and a fully-realised VFX world regardless whether VFX takes centre-stage in your film or not.

We provide tailor-made workflows and are used to working across high-end delivery specifications. Our custom-built workflows mirror those of established VFX vendors, and - coupled with our integrated relationship with the Colour Department - mean you get the very best out of your images.

QC & Delivery

Completing our air-tight post production pipeline is our QC & Delivery Services.

We are committed to being a theatrical-first post production facility, and as-such, have become specialists in DCP & ProRes Authoring & Quality Control. All mastering and packaging is done in-house, or we can package and partner-up with external vendors/facilities depending on the brief.

We run Automated File Checks (AQC / PSE) on All Final Deliverables (Master Files & Viewing-Spec Files) in-conjunction with an Eyeball QC performed by our experienced technical operators, noting every detail to ensure they adhere to the project’s delivery specifications.

All DCPs are QC’ed in a cinema next-door to the London Office. All screens are 4K Sony Picture Quality and are fitted with Dolby Digital (5.1) Surround Sound.

Facilities

As part of your client experience with us, we offer the complete package - of a calming yet productive experience. The nature of our office as open-plan, means our artists & producers are easy to communicate with, which in-turn allows for a smooth flow of work.

The kitchen has a range of teas and coffees to suit all client preferences. Clients are free to use the central meeting/lunch zone, and TV provided for presentations. We’ve also got super-fast Wi-Fi, a printer-copier and stationary zone which are all free to use. MediaShuttle is our asset portal of choice, and files can be easily transmitted to/from and within the facility from the comfort of your own laptop - highly useful if you’re a freelancer/client on-the-go. We pride ourselves on posing a modern facility, with the needs of the individual catered-for / in-mind.
