Milan Grundza
VFX Compositor
Milan Grundza is an experienced compositor specialising in photorealistic integration, complex shot problem-solving, and cinematic visual effects for high-end film and television. Milan was a digital matte painter at MPC, working on major studio feature films - delivering photorealistic matte paintings and set extensions for House of Gucci and Disenchanted.
This was followed by a tenure at Fix FX where Milan progressed from compositor to team leader, training interns while delivering shots independently -focussing on plate preparation, clean-up and compositing across multiple projects. He then became Lead Compositor / Generalist at Modern Digital where he worked on high-spec, fast-turnaround commercial projects. He was the Lead Compositor and generalist artist on a 150-shot VFX project, overseeing shot delivery, maintaining visual consistency and supporting a small team of artists through to final delivery. He was also the Comfy UI Artist and VFX Artist on an eight-part series at Newman Studios.
He now joins us as Disauthority’s Compositing & VFX Artist, after a lengthy tenure as a VFX artist and compositor in other facilities - having worked everywhere from major VFX studios to boutique outfits. He works alongside VFX Supervisor Raiyan Chinoy, co-ordinated by VFX Production Manager Jacob Percival, and is based at our Croydon site.
