James Lambert
Assistant Producer
After graduating in 2023 from Met Film School, James began working as a freelance producer, assistant director and runner. The combined experience of these roles gives James a unique viewpoint in effectively planning productions and a keen ability to work collaboratively with all departments. James’s passion for filmmaking is the procedures and planning of a production in order to give the crew, cast and/or contributors the resources and environment to perform their best work.
James has also done work experience in different sectors adjacent to the industry, with placements at CAA (Creative Artist Agency), the largest talent agency in the world, where he worked in departments such as Artist management, AD activation and Executive search - and up and coming PR agency in Brighton, Red Setter PR. Here, he worked in client acquisition and research.
His eclectic experience has helped him have a better understanding of the industry as a whole and what is needed for a successful production at every stage of its lifetime.
Alongside James’s work at DA, he heads up M+’s creative content agency BAD BEHAVIOUR.
