Art Director / Lead VFX Artist

Raiyan is a traditional artist turned digital. Having started as a freelance storyboarding artist for DJI in 2021, his background in VFX previs, digital matte-painting and compositing drives his approach to achieving tangible, timeless VFX.

Working closely with the colour department since the inception of DISAUTHORITY, Raiyan has been a core support to the company’s picture finishing quality, contributing to BIFA and BAFTA qualifying productions.

His team offers support from on-set supervision to tailor-made visuals for productions of all scales and genres with a specialisation in hidden VFX.

As the writer, director, VFX supervisor & artist on DISAUTHORITY’s internal award-winning production Bittersweet (2024), Raiyan has experience with virtual production at Garden Studios, recently winning as the Best Young Filmmaker at Wigan & Leigh Short Film Festival 2024.
