Sarah Winstanley

With 20 years of experience in television production and broadcasting, Sarah has built a diverse career spanning both independent production companies and major UK broadcasters. Sarah has worked across a range of roles, from hands-on production management to positions in scheduling, finance, and commissioning at leading networks including UKTV and Channel 4, helping to shape programming strategy and manage budgets.

Sarah built a strong foundation in broadcasting, starting in the scheduling team at UKTV before moving to Channel 4, where she was part of the launch team for E4. There, she managed scheduling and commissioning for both original and acquired programming. Transitioning into the independent production sector, she took on the role of Head of Production, gaining extensive hands-on experience overseeing projects from development through to delivery. During this time, she managed multiple productions across the UK, France, and the US, playing a key role in establishing long-term partnerships with commercial broadcasters like ITV and Channel 5. Sarah combines commercial acumen with strong editorial judgment, making her a valuable asset in any production environment.
